My wife's father, Alois Mommers (1901 - 1990), was a successful insurance salesman but his first love was always music. In this short music video he plays and sings (in German) a song he composed about his adopted hometown of Ruedesheim am Rhein, Germany- a well known tourist destination on the Rhine River. As the song says, "If you haven't been in Ruedesheim then you haven't been on the Rhine." Audio recorded in 1977 when Alois visited us in Ventura, California, USA .
